Almost every business in the UK can apply for a Gigabit Connection voucher, but there are key points for eligibilty
The Right Location
Your business is within an eligible area one of the many cities or regions taking part in the scheme and the connection is for your main business premises
You are a SME, registered charity, social enterprise or sole trader
The cheapest of the two packages is £295/mo with a few larger products costing slightly more
The Right Contract Type
You are willing to sign up to a minimum 12 month contract with your broadband supplier and the broadband service you select delivers a speed or performance improvement on your current connection
About the Gigabit Voucher Scheme
The Gigabit Voucher Scheme will provide up to £67 million of funding to SME businesses across the whole of the UK. The scheme will run until 2021 or until the funding has been fully allocated.
The Gigabit Voucher Scheme, part of the Local Full Fibre Networks Programme being delivered by DCMS, is aimed at providing SME businesses with grant funding of up to £3000 to upgrade to a Gigabit capable full fibre Internet connection.
Fibre based networks offer faster, more reliable Internet connectivity and are essential for businesses wanting to connect to the Cloud and access new markets, increase productivity as well as future-proof for the digital challenges of tomorrow.
