The Super Connected Derry program will be closing soon. Businesses interested in applying for up to £3,000 worth of broadband vouchers must do so promptly.
Derry City Council also says it is aiming to provide an improved connectivity infrastructure in the city by the end of the year along with the creation of new Wi-Fi zones in public buildings and installing wireless systems on established street furniture like lampposts and road signs.
In total, Derry has received £2.2m in funding from the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport’s Urban Broadband Fund and fits into the city’s wider digital strategy for the future.
